Mehmet Özgen graduated from the Ankara Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences in 1976. Özgen began his professional career in 1978 as an Assistant Finance Inspector at the Ministry of Finance and has held various positions as a bureaucrat in public service both domestically and abroad on behalf of the Ministry of Finance. He continues his professional career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
